It can hold up to eight slots of the small Fauna which are categorized as Food. They can be added by clicking on the aquarium to bring up its Inventory menu, and placing the fauna. Only edible creatures can be placed inside.+ +Though the databank entry mentions the aquarium's automatic environmental regulation sustains the occupants, an aquarium is not actually required to store live animals, which will survive indefinitely in any storage. The survival of creatures in an aquarium, or any other storage, does not depend on the Seabase or Cyclops having power.
