The Armored Plant is a flora species that appears in Subnautica: Below Zero. As of now, only one can be found in a plant pot in Samantha Ayou's old bedroom in the Phi Robotics Center.
Description
The flora is composed of a decorated, violet, vase-like structure with dark blue spots situated on top of a thick, segmented blue stalk. From the opening on top sprout six small, cyan leaves on the ends of long purple stalks.
Design
The appearance of this flora species seems to be inspired by the real life goose barnacles.

Trivia
- Throughout most of Subnautica: Below Zero's development, the Armored Plant was much larger in size when spawned in-game than it is in its current form.
- Although, it is possible that the one we see in Phi Robotics isn't fully matured.
