Caps

Caps are a type of placeable item that can be found inside the Aurora, Lifepod 7, and Wrecks. They serve only as decoration and cannot be worn by the player.

Variations

Gray Cap

• Description: Gray cap. Incompatible with protective environment suits.
• Size: 1

Blue Cap

• Description: Blue cap. Incompatible with protective environment suits.
• Size: 1
• Location: Aurora, Dunes Wreck, Grand Reef Wreck
• Debug Spawn: cap2

Appearance

The Caps look like baseball caps. They come in two color variations:

• The Grey Cap says "PEAK" in bold letters on the front, as well as on the side with an addition of a mountain peak below it.
• The Blue Cap says "DURETTE" on the front side.

They can be placed on Wall Shelves, Desks, and even the Arcade Gorge Toy.

Trivia

• According to the textures files for the hats, there was at one point a green cap. This hat went unused for unknown reasons.
• The cap models and textures are reused from Natural Selection 2.
