Chairs (Subnautica)

The Chair is a Miscellaneous Item constructed by the Habitat Builder. It allows the player to sit down, which disables the Food & Water bar and enables access to the PDA while seated. There are currently three types of Chairs available in the game.

Types

Swivel Chair

• Description: Turns 360 degrees.
• Acquired From: Fragments (1), Debug Spawn (starshipchair)

• Description: Commandeering.

Uses

Sitting in a Chair provides a comfortable spot for the player to manage inventory or read logs via the PDA without needing to stand. It effectively pauses hunger and thirst mechanics while seated.

Recipe

Chairs must be scanned from fragments found in Wrecks or Degasi Seabases to acquire their Blueprints. They are built using the Habitat Builder.
