Overview
Diamond is a raw material found on the seabed of many Biomes in Subnautica: Below Zero. It can be found as a large resource deposit, which are especially plentiful in the Tree Spires and at Koppa Mining Site.
There is a very small chance diamonds can also be found as an Ore Vein. Ore veins are somewhat plentiful in the [Arctic Spires](/wiki/arctic-spires), but diamond ore veins are usually located quite deep—beyond 200 meters.
Acquisition Methods
The easiest way to find some diamonds in the early-game is from Ore Veins found near the Lava Geysers inside the smaller Thermal Spires Caves. Tread with caution as the eruption from the Lava Geysers can kill a careless player.
An alternative way of acquiring Diamonds in the early-game is by navigating to the Deep Twisty Bridges. Because this area is below 200m, oxygen management is key. To maintain a steady oxygen supply in this area, the player may utilize either the Seatruck or a Floating Pump and Pipe. Additionally, the Rebreather and High Capacity O2 Tank make surviving at this depth much easier. However, be aware of the more aggressive fauna within the Deep Twisty Bridges.

Diamonds can be acquired from Sea Monkeys which, after Al-An has been downloaded to Robin's mind, offer the player/Robin resources for any pinned recipes.
