It is not known to be directly linked to any [Bloom Node](Bloom_Node) or Biofilm.   As with other Bloom infections, it is destroyed using a [Sonic Resonator](Sonic_Resonator). They are found covering natural oxygen vents and open crates.   Destroying a Bloom Sap infection will reveal a [Water Slug](Water_Slug).
