The Coffee Vending Machine is an interior item in Subnautica: Below Zero. To obtain the blueprint, scan one of the Coffee Vending Machines located in an Alterra Base using the Scanner.
The Coffee Vending Machine can be used to add coffee to a Thermos and has unlimited usage. When built, it will say, "You look like you could use some coffee." The player can insert an empty Thermos into the machine, which takes seventeen seconds to brew. Upon completion, the machine states, "Coffee completed," and the player can retrieve the filled Thermos. A maximum of two Thermoses can be placed in the machine at once.
Its primary in-game function is to provide a portable heat source; drinking the coffee restores 50 heat points per Thermos. However, it also reduces the player's water level by 2 units.
