| Property | Details |-| --- | --- |+| :--- | :--- | | **Category** | Raw Materials | | **Description** | Hard ceramic coating. Forms a dense, impermeable surface layer that shields delicate systems from hostile environments. | | **Biome** | Needler Nest | | **Source** | Enamel Husks, Metal Farms | ![Creature Enamel](Creature Enamel.png) **Creature Enamel** is a Raw Material used in the crafting of Enameled Glass. ## Obtaining Creature Enamel is obtained by breaking Enamel Husks with the Sonic Resonator. Enamel Husks are found on walls inside of the Needler Nest. As Creature Enamel is only found as Enamel Husks, the Sonic Resonator is required to obtain it. Creature Enamel can be obtained by breaking down the Enamel Husk with Sonic Resonator from a Metal Farm, meaning that Creature Enamel can be farmed continuously. ## Recipe Creature Enamel can be produced in a Metal Farm. -| Machine | Input | Time | Output |-| --- | --- | --- | --- |-| Metal Farm | - | 10:00 | 2x Creature Enamel |+| Machine | Input | Output | Crafting Time |+| :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- |+| Metal Farm | - | 2x Creature Enamel | 10:00 | ## Uses in Crafting * Enameled Glass ## Databank Entry **Enamel** -> Scan an Enamel Husk+* **Source:** Scan an Enamel Husk+* **Description:** Enamel Databank Entry ## Gallery ![An Enamel Husk found in the Needler Nest.](Enamel Husk.png) ## Trivia * Creature Enamel currently uses a recolored version of the Titanium icon.-* Creature Enamel is a different material used to craft Enameled Glass than in other Subnautica series. In Subnautica (1), it was stalker teeth, and in Subnautica Below Zero, it was diamonds with lead. This information is a fun fact which doesn't influence Subnautica 2's gameplay.+* Although Enameled Glass has been present in every entry of *Subnautica*, the resource used to craft it is always different.+ * In *Subnautica*, Stalker Teeth were the required resource, which are very similar to Creature Enamel in that both items seem to involve teeth.
