The Descender is an unimplemented Lifeform expected to be added to the Scorpius region as part of the EA2 Update. Not much is currently known about its temperament or behaviors.
Appearance
The Descender bears a resemblance to the Veps, such as the broad plating that can be drawn closer into the body and end in singular, long claws, similar to those of the Vep Sensor. These plates are directly connected to the central body of the Descender, however, as opposed to being connected by elongate forelimbs.
The central body of the Descender is covered in long, tendril-like appendages that follow behind it as it moves, and which currently serve an unknown purpose.
Behavior
While idle, the Descender swims around slowly and aimlessly. When a Collector Leviathan is in its vicinity, the Descender turns red and flees quickly away from the leviathan. Once it is a safe distance away, the Descender turns back to green.
