Fabricator Base

The Fabricator Base is an Architect Base located in the Fabricator Caverns. As the name suggests, it contains several fabricators capable of creating a new body for Al-An.

Overview

The blueprint for the body requires scanning all Architect body parts that can be found around the map in Architect Caches. Each body part is constructed individually at three small fabricators at the left side of the room. Once all body parts have been fabricated, Al-An's organic storage medium can be assembled inside the large fluid tank in the center of the room.

As the player creates Al-An's Storage Medium and the parts to the vessel, the room will slowly differ in appearance as multiple light fixtures will activate and start to illuminate the room.

• Al-An Body Part 0: Plays when the player has not yet crafted the components.
• Al-An Body Part 1-3: Increments each time the player crafts a new component for Al-An's Vessel.
• Al-An Body Part 4: Plays upon constructing the storage medium itself, then loops endlessly whenever the player is within the base.

Trivia

Initially, the Fabricator Base was located 280 meters underwater in the Lilypad Islands. Then it was moved to the Deep Arctic before being placed in the Fabricator Caverns.
