+# Multipurpose Room (Below Zero)+ +![Room (BZ)](https://wiki.subnautica.com/sn/images/Room_%28BZ%29.png?ee5ae)+ +## Overview+ +The **Multipurpose Room** is a Seabase Module in *Subnautica: Below Zero*. It provides significantly more interior space for movement compared to the I Compartment or X Compartment, though it is smaller than the Large Room.+ +### Specifications+ +| Feature | Detail |+| :--- | :--- |+| **Hull Integrity** | -1.25 Units |+| **Size** | 3L x 3W |+| **Blueprint Source** | Scanning |+| **Acquired From** | Habitat Builder |+| **Scannables Location** | Delta Station, Outpost Zero |+| **Debug ID** | baseroom |+ +## Construction & Placement+ +The Multipurpose Room is constructed using the **Habitat Builder**. It can be placed on top of a Foundation or attached directly to another Seabase module.+ +- **Horizontal Connection**: When connected horizontally to another module, a small corridor segment is automatically generated.+- **Vertical Stacking**: Multipurpose Rooms can be stacked vertically. Players must build **ladders** inside to access multiple floors.+- **Expansion**: Side panels allow expansion with other modules. However, side panels at 45-degree angles to the construction direction cannot be expanded from.+- **Glass Dome**: A Multipurpose Room Glass Dome can be placed on top, but this prevents further vertical stacking.+ +### Hull Integrity Mechanics+ +Every Multipurpose Room added reduces total Hull Integrity by **-1.25** (the game interface may display -1.3 due to rounding).+ +- The first piece of a seabase starts with +10 Integrity.+- If built as the first piece at surface depth, the net integrity is approximately 1.8 (+10 - 1.25).+ +### Panel Limitations+ +- **Ladders**: Can be placed on all five floor and ceiling boxes if an adjacent Seabase module exists for connection.+- **Windows & Reinforcements**: Can be placed on all eight side panels.+ - *Note*: North, South, East, and West sides provide double the Hull Integrity bonus from reinforcements compared to the 45-degree sides. This may be a bug.+- **Alien Containment Expansion Hatches**: Can be placed on all eight side panels.+- **Connection Restrictions**: Cannot be connected to the Large Room using a Ladder.+ +## Crafting+ +The blueprint is unlocked by scanning Multipurpose Rooms found at **Outpost Zero** or **Delta Station**. It is crafted exclusively with the Habitat Builder.+ +## Gallery+ +![CoolWindow](https://wiki.subnautica.com/sn/images/thumb/CoolWindow.jpg/200px-CoolWindow.jpg?e307a)+ +![CoolWindow2](https://wiki.subnautica.com/sn/images/thumb/CoolWindow2.jpg/200px-CoolWindow2.jpg?7b9be)
