+| Property | Details |+| :--- | :--- |+| **Category** | Power (Interior Facility) |+| **Description** | Harness excess power for later use. |+| **Fragments Required** | 2 |+ +![Power Storage](wiki-images/a9/a90c3684cc4a86d58e3088cb6657cc01.png)+ +The **Power Storage** is an [Interior Facility](Habitat_Builder#Interior_Facilities) used to store and provide excess energy for your Seabase.+ +## Recipe+ +The blueprint for the Power Storage is unlocked by scanning two fragments. Once unlocked, it can be constructed using the [Habitat Builder](Habitat_Builder).+ +| Ingredient | Quantity |+| :--- | :--- |+| [Germanium Ingot](Germanium_Ingot) | 1 |+| [Titanium](Titanium) | 3 |+| [Salt](Salt) | 2 |+ +## Usage+ +The Power Storage charges automatically while the [Seabase](Seabase) it is constructed inside has excess available energy. It features a manual toggle switch with two states:+ +* **Enabled**: The Power Storage will discharge its stored energy to the Seabase when power demand exceeds generation.+* **Disabled**: The Power Storage will **not** provide energy to the Seabase, but it will continue to charge as long as excess energy is available.+ +This allows players to reserve stored power for emergencies or specific high-drain situations.+ +## Fragments+ +Two fragments are required to unlock the blueprint. They can be found at the following locations:+ +| Coordinates & Depth | Location Description | Image |+| :--- | :--- | :--- |+| -307411, 461201 @ 210m | In the [Hot Cave Basecamp](Hot_Cave_Basecamp) | ![Fragment 1](wiki-images/31/313b838adfceeb5acc8f3f0a04c886f5.png) |+| -208873, 425690 @ 140m | In the [Research Outpost](Research_Outpost) | ![Fragment 2](wiki-images/3c/3c8931d4c94d3218acd806028fb007b5.png) |+| -306686, 450913 @ 90m | In [Nahema's Lab](Colonist_Bunker_(Nahema's_Lab)) | ![Fragment 3](wiki-images/9e/9ee045564b9b981c21eab80a17eecec2.png) |+| -352780, 450484 @ 90m | In a colonist bunker in the [Dolerite Spires](Dolerite_Spires) | ![Fragment 4](wiki-images/98/983bef7def8977fbea431094082af692.png) |+| -125020, 414182 @ 330m | Just North of the [Stairway to Heaven](Stairway_to_Heaven) wreck | ![Fragment 5](wiki-images/84/841e6461f1ee497582844e495aca408d.png) |+| -213758, 449961 @ 130m | In a container at the [Rosetta Stone](Rosetta_Stone) | ![Fragment 6](wiki-images/33/33ea198d80ae838734666c2e2b261abe.png) |+| -278543, 438086 @ 110m | On an elevated platform SW of the [Tadpole Pens](Tadpole_Pens) | ![Fragment 7](wiki-images/c2/c2fe5bacd4b4ed47a3e62ebe9a8367eb.png) |+ +## Databank Entry+ +**Item:** Power Capacitor+ +> The IEEE 180-compliant "Fallback" power storage allows a habitat to bank power for use in the event of a shortage. Shortages may occur when the sun sets, fuel runs out, new systems are installed without proper planning, or even as a result of damage—but whatever the cause, the Fallback will keep the habitat operational until its own batteries are depleted.+>+> * Automatically stores excess power+> * Activates during a power shortfall; may deplete rapidly if the shortfall is large+> * Adding more power storages increases the time the habitat can operate without power+>+> Power storage is one of the most dangerous elements of pioneer habitats. Practice safe habits: do not test unapproved tools on or near the power supply. Separate living quarters and work spaces from power storage to avoid catastrophic ruptures and thermal runaway of power storages or pioneers.+>+> — *Unlock the Power Storage blueprint*
