+# Rudimentary Tablet+ ++ +The **Rudimentary Tablet** is an earlier form of the Alien Tablets used to access the Alien Bases on 4546B. Like the Alien Tablets seen today, it likely functioned to unlock doors and also as a PDA equivalent. It is found within the Primary Containment Facility.+ +Just like the Translation Device, the Rudimentary Tablet is only viewable and is unable to be taken by the player.+ +## Databank Entry+ +This device shares many similarities with the tablets used to access the alien facilities, although its structure is rather less complex. It may have served a similar purpose, granting security access and storing relevant data, and was thus kept here as a form of legacy support.+ +*Source: Scan Rudimentary Tablet in Primary Containment Facility*+ +## Gallery+ ++The third Relic, an ancient Precursor Tablet
