The Scanner Room Range Upgrade is an upgrade module for the Scanner Room. It is crafted with the Mini-Fabricator inside the scanner room and must be placed inside the upgrade panel to function.
This upgrade increases the scanner room's range, revealing a more widespread bathymetric/topographic map of the area, and allows resources to be detected within a larger radius from the scanner room. Several of these upgrades can be installed in the module at once, with each one increasing the scanner's range by 50m.
This upgrade has no effect on the range of the Camera Drones.
