The Scourge Hive is an unimplemented Lifeform. It is a large, circular lifeform that slowly moves about randomly.
Appearance
The Scourge Hive has a radially symmetrical body shaped like a classical UFO. The upper surface is orange, marked by pale blue pores, and divided by cyan grooves extending from a central disc. The grooves each terminate around an elongate opening in the body towards the rim, with some of the grooves also possessing a similar opening at the top. In the very center of the upper surface is a turquoise sphere resembling an eye.
The underside is beige and covered by small pores. Around the rim where the two halves join are a series of large cyan-ringed openings at regular intervals around the body. Each of these openings has a cyan teardrop shaped protrusion below it.
Behavior
The Scourge Hive moves around aimlessly while the openings around its rim exude swarms of tiny lifeforms that immediately swim away from the hive and then drop down towards the sea floor.
