One of the two [Viral Bloom](Viral_Bloom) Nodes can be found under the Spider Dome. This node must be cleansed in order to obtain the ability to cleanse one of the [Angel Comb](Angel_Comb)'s chambers and use the Gene Donor to get the [Heat Tolerance](Heat_Tolerance) [Adaptation](Adaptations).+The **Spider Dome** is an unusual coral structure located in the southwestern corner of the [Shallows](Shallows), west of the [Welcome Center](Welcome_Center). As described by the PDA, it resembles a spider growing over a sinkhole.  -## Location+According to [Kinuiin "Wander" Wangmo](Kinuiin_%22Wander%22_Wangmo), the coral grew in this shape to prevent the [Bloom](Bloom) from escaping and spreading. Inside the sinkhole beneath the dome lies one of two [Bloom Nodes](Bloom_Node) tied to the [Heat Tolerance](Heat_Tolerance) [Angel Comb](Angel_Comb).  -The Spider Dome is located west of the [Lifepod](Lifepod) on the edge of the [Shallows](Shallows) biome at a depth of 30m.+## Overview  -*   **Coordinates:** -358367, 443123+### The Dome Structure+The Spider Dome consists of a single, oversized [Coral Dome](Coral_Dome) suspended over a sinkhole by four large "limbs" made of the same coral material. Various sessile lifeforms grow across its surface, including:+*   [Branching Coral](Branching_Coral)+*   [Jack Sponge](Jack_Sponge)+*   [Pebbled Sporal](Pebbled_Sporal)  +The interior of the dome is hollow and contains a plethora of [Quartz](Quartz) and a single [Oxygen Tunic](Oxygen_Tunic).+ +Two small worksites are located below the dome:+1.  **Upper Site**: Contains an empty [Portable Locker](Portable_Locker), a [Storage Cache](Storage_Cache), and a small chest with a [Nutrient Block](Nutrient_Block).+2.  **Lower Site**: Overlooks the sinkhole. Players must use a [Sonic Resonator](Sonic_Resonator) to clear the opening.+ +Once cleared, players can enter a Bloom-infested cave. Key features include:+*   **Bloom Node**: Sits atop the intersection of four [Titan Rockbores](Titan_Rockbore). To cure the node, players must destroy four [Bloom Cankers](Bloom_Canker) in the main chamber.+*   **Fauna**: [Water Slugs](Water_Slug) (some trapped by [Bloom Sap](Bloom_Sap)), [Bloom Parasites](Bloom_Parasite) (while the node is uncured), [Halfmoons](Halfmoon), and [Bluemoons](Bluemoon).+*   **Flora**: Scant instances of [Feather Kelp](Feather_Kelp).+*   **Blackbox**: *Blackbox - Wander (depth 70m - in a viral bloom)* can be found next to a blocked oxygen vent.+ +**Exits:**+*   **Northern Exit**: Following the Titan Rockbore north eventually leads to the [Heat Tolerance](Heat_Tolerance) [Angel Comb](Angel_Comb).
