Erdene**, nicknamed **Ruby**, is a pioneer who was aboard the *AISV Cicada* when it crashed into the planet Proteus. She serves as the colony's lead pilot and is an expert in the use of **Tadpoles**, handling instruction and licensing for these vehicles within the colony. Ruby is married to **S. "Ganzo" Ganzorig**.   During the survival efforts on Proteus, Ruby has been killed and reprinted multiple times. After **Nahema Nakota**’s group destroyed the **Old Habitat**, Ganzo led survivors, including Ruby, towards the **Tadpole Pens**. During this journey, Ruby was killed by a **Marrowbreach**. She was subsequently reprinted at an unknown **Biobed**.
