TSF (Trans-System Federation)
The Trans-System Federation is the chartered independent military of transgov space.
- Responsible for piracy suppression, phase gate regulation, and humanitarian intervention
- Funded by 37 transgovs but empowered to set its own policy
- Operates the Frontiersmen, alien environment specialists equipped with nanotech and human fabrication
- Monitors Kharaa quarantine protocol, supervising all interstellar travel
Admiral Rathine Studaber, the TSF's military commander, used the war against the alien Kharaa to secure true independence from transgov sponsors like Alterra. TSF Frontiersmen battle the Kharaa xenoforms and enforce strict quarantine protocols at all phase gates.
Analysts agree that very soon Admiral Studaber will declare martial law in a populated transgov colony—crossing the rubicon from independent military to military government.
