It is the home of the Ventgarden.+ +It borders the Thermal Spires, West Arctic, Purple Vents, Delta Island, Lilypad Islands, Crystal Caves, and the World Edge.+ +**Spoiler alert:** This section will reveal story-related material if expanded.+ +An entrance to the cave containing Marguerit Maida's Base can be found here.+ +## Description+ +The biome has many large tree-like Hydrothermal Vents that are covered in small vine-like Flora. It has many types of Flora and Fauna including two species of Leviathans: Two Chelicerates and two Ventgardens, with the Chelicerates and one Ventgarden in the northeastern section, and one Ventgarden in the southwestern section. A couple of Juvenile Ventgardens can be seen wandering around the biome too.+ +The biome is dominated by cliffs and small ridges, with noticeable erosion in some areas. Clusters of Cliff Lanterns can be seen on growing on many of the cliffs in the biome. The southern section is also reasonably deeper than the rest of the biome, as the biome gradually slopes down into the World Edge. The western section shares a boundary with the West Arctic.+ ++ +### The Main Tree Spires+ +The Main Tree Spires is the main section of the biome, hosting a variety of both Fauna and Flora. The area also hosts the Leviathans mentioned previously. The ridges and cliffs of the biome support a variety of Flora native to the biome, including the Reaper's Wineglass.+ +The Spiral Plant, a flora needed for the crafting of Synthetic Fibers, is found inside the Ventgardens.+ +**Resources:**+* Argentite Outcrop+* Large Copper Deposit+* Large Quartz Deposit+* Large Titanium Deposit+* Silver Ore+* Spiral Plant Clipping+* Titanium+ +**Fauna:**+* Arrow Ray+* Brute Shark+* Chelicerate+* Hoopfish+* Juvenile Ventgarden+* Red Feather Fish+* Ventgarden+ +**Flora:**+* Blooming Raindrops+* Reaper's Wineglass+* Tornado Plates+* Bulb Stalk Plant+* Redwort Relative+* Spiral Plant+* Glowing Coral Shelf+* Tree Spire+* Tree Spires Purple Coral+ +## Gallery+ ++Overview of the area during the day+ ++Overview of the area at night+ ++A pair of Juvenile Ventgardens swimming in the open+ ++One of the Adult Ventgardens from a distance+ ++A cluster of Hydrothermal Spires in the area+ ++Several large tree spires in the biome+ ++A close view of a Tree Spire+ ++A Red Feather Fish swimming next to a Ventgarden+ ++An Arrow Ray within the biome+ ++A Brute Shark swimming in the biome+ ++A Chelicerate patrolling the biome+ ++A Chelicerate attacking a Brute Shark+ ++A Glow Whale swimming close to the biome+ ++The border with the Thermal Spires+ ++A shallower section of the biome+ +## The Tree Spires Fissure+ ++ +The Tree Spires Fissure accounts for the small fissures found in the cliffs and seabed surrounding the Ventgardens, and the two cave systems, each located under one of the Ventgardens. These fissures hold many rare and valuable Raw Materials, such as Uraninite Crystals or Ruby.+ +The cave systems themselves lack many Fauna and Flora, but contain Thermal Plant Fragments.+ +**Spoiler alert:** This section will reveal story-related material if expanded.+ +The northeastern cave system contains an Independent Tech Site and connects to Marguerit Maida's Base, while the southwestern one holds one of the Ground Samplers and two Ion Cubes.+ +**Resources:**+* Booster Tank+* Calaverite Outcrop+* Diamond+* Gold+* Ion Cube+* Large Diamond Deposit+* Lithium+* Ruby+* Titanium+* Uraninite Crystal+* Thermal Plant Fragments+ +**Items:**+* Desk+* Light Stick+ +**Fauna:**+* Arrow Ray+* Discus Fish+* Triops+ +**Flora:**+* Blooming Raindrops+* Reaper's Wineglass+* Glowing Coral Shelf+* Tree Spire+* Tree Spires Purple Coral+ +### Story Spoiler+ +**Marguerit Maida's Log #1**+ +## Gallery+ ++The entrance to the northern fissure+ ++The entrance to the southern fissure+ ++Deeper into the fissure under the northern Ventgarden+ ++A Discus Fish near the entrance of the Fissure.+ ++The main chamber of the northern fissure+ ++A Tech Site found in the fissure+ ++The intersection with the Lilypads Crevice+ +## The Large Tree Spire+ ++ +> The nearby spires are substantial thermal vent structures, hospitable to coral formation.+> ― PDA+ +The Large Tree Spire is a smaller section of the Tree Spires found on a large rock formation located in the center of the biome. This area is easily identified by the large Tree Spire located on the top.+ +The area itself lacks many Raw Materials and Fauna, but it's the only area to possess Lily Paddlers, and has no specific points of interest.+ +The large Tree Spire can be used as a natural marker, and can also be taken advantage of to make a Seabase on thanks to its proximity to the surface and the readily available Thermal Plant fragments scattered around it.+ +**Resources:**+* Ruby+* Thermal Plant Fragments+ +**Fauna:**+* Lily Paddler+* Red Feather Fish+ +**Flora:**+* Blooming Raindrops+* Reaper's Wineglass+* Tornado Plates+* Glowing Coral Shelf+* Tree Spire+* Tree Spires Purple Coral+ +## Gallery+ ++The bottom of the rock formation+ ++A cliffside of the area with multiple Tornado Plates+ ++The large tree spire in comparison to a normal Tree Spire+ ++A Lily Paddler at the base of the large tree spire+ +## Concept Art+ ++Concept art - by Pat Presley+ +## Trivia+ +* Despite its name, Hydrothermal Spires are present here.+* Out of all of the biomes, this one has the most diverse Leviathan Class Organisms living within it.
