Cold Suit

The Cold Suit is a thermal-regulated, whole-body suit designed to keep the player warm in the cold glaciers of Planet 4546B. It insulates the body, significantly slowing the depletion of temperature.

Made of tightly-knit kevlar microfiber and insulated with an alpine yoke around the neck and shoulders, the Cold Suit is designed to delay the onset of hypothermia. ― PDA

Appearance

The suit is composed primarily of white and gray colors. An orange stripe runs down the chest, wrists, head piece, lower legs, and the sides of the feet. There are ripples in the fabric on select parts of the suit. The head piece is hood-like, covering the whole head, with a piece of glass in front of the eyes for visibility and a visor above the glass.

Effect

The Cold Suit provides a total of 80% resistance to the cold:

50% from the main Cold Suit body
20% from the Cold Suit Helmet
10% from the Cold Suit Gloves

Crafting

The blueprints for all three items are acquired by scanning Cold Suit Fragments located in the Phi Robotics Center within the Glacial Basin. All three items are crafted in the Fabricator.
