Blackboxes are postmortem messages left by pioneers when they die. Blackboxes are dropped at the exact location where the pioneer died, and they can be accessed for a databank entry. Signals produced by the NoA Terminal sometimes lead to blackboxes.
Blackboxes are printed within the Pioneers’ body, connected to the spine, when they are reprinted.
