Bloom Canker (Display Case)


At the Old Habitat, there are two Bloom Cankers contained inside Display Cases. These specimens can be scanned using the Bioscanner and count towards the total bio scan progress. However, both display cases share a single scan entry rather than counting as two separate scans. This scan is distinct from the standard Bloom Canker scan found in the wild.

Scanning either display case will unlock the Bloom Canker Databank entry if the player has not already acquired it.

Description

The two display cases feature different states of the Bloom Canker, accompanied by notes from Wu:

• Blue Bloom Canker Display: When viewed, a message appears stating: "A bloom canker, open to feed. Resonators can destroy them in this state. -Wu"
• Brown Bloom Canker Display: When viewed, a message appears stating: "Cankers close when they're not hungry. The resonator can't break the shell. -Wu"
