Chap Sovann was a pioneer and computation dynamicist on the AISV Cicada who died during an explosion at the Old Habitat after joining a rebel group.

Chap Sovann is a pioneer who was on the AISV Cicada when it crashed onto Proteus. He worked as the colony's computation dynamicist and biobed administrator. Chap, along with Mantis, joined with Nahema as part of a rebel group to destroy the pioneer colony and perished at the Old Habitat as the result of an explosion.

Chap's last known death occurred 235,000 hours ago in the Old Habitat. He was marked as "do not print" following this, and not scheduled for reset.
