Equipment is a class of items crafted in the Fabricator which can be equipped through the PDA UI to augment the player's properties. They are distinct from Tools which are usually held and used manually.
Currently equipment only exists for the Feet, Head and Air Tank slots, with the Body and Hand slots being locked in the inventory UI.
