The Material Analysis Station is an Architect Artifact that can be found in a small cave accessible on the shore of Delta Island. It is a small, partially destroyed research outpost that was set up to study Raw Materials and possibly replicate them.

Resembling a human electron microscope or mass spectrometer, this tool appears to be designed for the purpose of analyzing physical raw materials.

It is speculated that the scanning apparatus might be designed to collect small-scale DNA recipes for the replication of non-living objects.
