Description
The Pink Cap is a terrestrial flora species found in abundance on the Floating Island and the Mountain Island. This inedible mushroom can be collected by hand for use in the Bioreactor, or its spores can be harvested using either the survival knife or the thermoblade. Other than this, it has no use in crafting.
Both the spores and the Pink Cap itself can be planted in Interior Growbeds, Exterior Growbeds, Plant Pots, and Plant Shelves. It takes 400 seconds (6:40 minutes) for a spore to grow into a Pink Cap.
Each Pink Cap can be hit once with a Knife, giving 4 spores in total. It doesn't matter if the Pink Cap has several mushrooms or only one cap; it will be destroyed by a single hit regardless.
Appearance
The Pink Cap resembles a real-life type of fungus. It can have anywhere from one to five pink mushroom caps covered with pale pink spots on thin stems that branch off from its thick main stem. The Pink Cap emits a faint bioluminescent glow.
