Purpose
The Bioreactor converts biological matter into usable energy.
Upon interacting with the Bioreactor, items of biological matter can be placed inside. If an item is inserted into the Bioreactor, it cannot be removed from it.
The Bioreactor can be toggled between 3 modes of operation: Off, Normal, and Overdrive.
- Off: It does not provide any energy or consume fuel.
- Normal: It provides 10 units of energy and consumes fuel at its standard burn duration. This will continue to use fuel for no benefit even if power draw is met by renewable sources like Solar Panels.
- Overdrive: It provides 20 units of energy and consumes fuel at twice the regular rate.

Bioreactor
A bioreactor generates power from organic matter and local chemistry. The bioreactor's nanomachine culture (derived from the colonist's own body) decomposes organic matter into methane to burn with oxygen for power. Carbon dioxide and water emissions are captured for reuse as nanomachine mass.
With a safety waiver and some software skill, the bioreactor can produce chemicals like sugar or even explosives. These operations are best left to qualified experts.
