Ruby is a raw material found in the Arctic biomes of Subnautica: Below Zero. It is an aluminum oxide gemstone used for crafting advanced equipment and modifying vehicles.

Ruby is a raw material found on the seabed of many Biomes or as a large resource deposit. Said deposits are especially plentiful at Koppa Mining Site. According to its description, it is used for heat and electricity conduction.

Appearance

Rubies appear as white rocks with four short, red mineral spikes jutting outward, giving them a generally realistic appearance. They have a small glow at night which makes them much easier to find.
