The Vep Worker is an unimplemented Lifeform and a type of Vep. Not much is currently known about it, though it does make an appearance in the Axum Observatory's holographic message alongside the Vep Sensor, implying greater story significance in the future.
Appearance
Vep Workers are diminutive in size, with an appearance vaguely reminiscent of shrimp such as Zenopontonia. The body is composed of only two main segments; a large body segment to which the three limb pairs are attached, and a head segment shaped like an upside-down teardrop bearing two large circular compound eyes. The rear two leg pairs are walking legs tipped with long black claws, whilst the anterior pair bear small chelae. The tail end of the body bears a tail fan composed of four flaps.
The creature is predominantly greyish-white on the ventral surface side and red on the dorsal side, with the tougher portions of the exoskeleton such as the claws and chelipeds being black. The articular membrane is pale brown.
