Chum Cloud is an active Biomod that releases a cloud of bait to distract predators. It is unlocked by successfully scanning both a Houndgar and a Toxic Sponge with a Bioscanner.
Utility
Chum Cloud allows the player to send an orb around 10 meters in the direction they are facing, which after a short time explodes into a radius of distracting bait. Predators that see this bait target it instead of the player for the duration of the effect. This can be used to flee or scan the creature. Chum Cloud has a 20 second cooldown after use.
Limitations:
- The Chum Cloud does not distract the Shiver Leviathan in the Void.
- The ability doesn't work while in the Tadpole.
