Currents push players along in the direction of the flow. The player cannot swim against the current by themselves, but can swim with the currents and can leave them by swimming to the side.
Overview
The player is not fast enough to swim against the currents even with the Improved Fins, but a basic Tadpole is fast enough to very slowly drive against the currents.
- With the Tadpole Scout Ray Chassis, the Tadpole can drive against currents effectively.
- With the Tadpole Haul Chassis, the Tadpole cannot drive against currents and is pushed back by them.
Hydroelectric Turbines generate power when placed in a current.
