Dash is an active Biomod which allows the player to use a quick burst of speed for additional mobility. It is available by default.

Utility

The Dash Biomod allows the player to dash in any direction they face. If a player is swimming and holding the spacebar at the same time, the dash will go in the direction the player's character top collision is facing. The Dash biomod has a five second cooldown before it can be activated again.

Trivia

• At one point in early development, the dash was a default part of the player's movement and consumed oxygen. This ended up being removed from the base movement options as apparently people would overuse the ability and suffocate frequently.
