The Regress Shell is a flora species that is generally found in deeper biomes. It is purely decorative.

By cutting the plant with the knife, the player can obtain Regress Shell Seeds. Up to 9 seeds can be obtained per plant. Each slash reaps 1 seed, while the eighth slash will destroy the plant and grant an additional seed.

The seeds can then be planted into an Exterior Growbed or an Alien Containment. It takes 800 seconds (13:20 minutes) for a mature Regress Shell to grow from a seed.

As mentioned above, the Regress Shell serves only as decoration and has no purpose in crafting.

Appearance

The Regress Shell is composed of multiple layers of gradually growing red rings, connected to an orange stem by a couple of small tendrils. The tendrils are white tipped, forming a circle of radiating white beam-like patterns capable of emitting bright bioluminescent glows.
