T. Erdene, nicknamed Ruby, is a pioneer who was aboard the Cicada when it crashed into Proteus. She serves as the colony's lead pilot and is an expert in the use of Tadpole submersibles, handling instruction and licensing for Tadpoles within the colony. She is married to S. "Ganzo" Ganzorig.
During the survival efforts on Proteus, Ruby has been killed and reprinted multiple times. After Nahema’s group destroyed the Old Habitat, Ganzo led survivors, including Ruby, towards the Tadpole Pens. During this journey, Ruby was killed by a Marrowbreach.
