The Sea Emperor Juveniles are five leviathans which may be encountered around the Crater after the player uses Hatching Enzymes to hatch the Sea Emperor Leviathan Eggs. They are the adolescent forms of the Sea Emperor babies.
Appearance
Sea Emperor Juveniles are similar in appearance to the adult Sea Emperor. There are no notable differences except for their size; the juveniles are considerably smaller at approximately 90 meters in length.
Behavior
After hatching, the Sea Emperor Juveniles can be found in the Crag Field, Dunes, Grand Reef, Mountains, and Northern Blood Kelp Zone. They swim randomly, staying near their spawn point, and do not interact with the player or with other fauna.
Story
After being hatched by the player and leaving the Primary Containment Facility through an arch, the babies disperse throughout the Crater. From there, they release Enzyme 42, curing local life of the Kharaa Bacterium and all but eradicating it from Planet 4546B by the time of the events of Subnautica: Below Zero.

Trivia
- The warp commands "goto juvenileemperor [number from 1-5]" can be used to warp to the locations of the Sea Emperor Juveniles.
- Sea Emperor Juveniles were intended to be a part of Subnautica: Below Zero's story and could be found in the Lilypad Islands, and later the Arctic, in Early Access versions. They were removed from the final version.
