Dermal Garden is a passive Biomod that provides a passive source of food. It is unlocked by successfully scanning a Needler Mango with a Bioscanner. Dermal Garden is similar to the Water Secretion biomod, but it provides renewable food instead of water.
Utility
Dermal Garden constantly grows algae while the player does other tasks. Every 3.5 minutes one Algae Block will be placed in the player's inventory. Each algae block recovers +5 food. The algae blocks merge into one item and show the value of the total food collected (max +30 food). The player does not need to be underwater for the algae to grow.
