Databank Entry
Invoice: pearls for Xanadu. The collectors were eager for this harvest. They plucked at the harp and tried to play the gathering song.
I leave the container unsealed so the collectors may pack gifts as it delights them. The pickup will come when it comes. I am not with the dry schedules and money. I do things the old wet way, as my family has for four hundred and thirty two years. My last molt went well and I grasp no reason I cannot last another.
All is well here. The water grows thin. The deep ice boils. The tar runs hot and fast, so the dam had to open some gates. But change is the delight of our world.
Pearl Spawn wants to reserve some pearls as dowry for a deep water bride who can spawn tough larvae. If change comes, seek remedy in strangeness.
