The Tracking Tag is a craftable tool used to set a marker for anything that has an inventory, including player Blackboxes.
Usage
In the player inventory the Tracking Tag is inert, however when it is within a form of inventory such as a Portable Locker or a player Blackbox they will produce a visible ping on the screen that can be followed.
Tracking Tags can also be thrown.
As of now Tracking Tags cannot be named so there is no way to differentiate between them.
