Hot Cave Basecamp


The Hot Cave Basecamp is a Pioneer Seabase located in the Graveyard caves. The site was constructed as a checkpoint used for monitoring any Pioneers coming back from the caves below.

Approximately 27 years ago, Qing "Twinkle" Xing and Sansariin "Ganzo" Ganzorig were the only pioneers reprinted here following an unsuccessful attempt to recover Tziporah "Zip" Malk's Kurul Level Access Key. The site has since been destroyed by a natural cave-in, rendering most of it inaccessible.

Exterior

The cave-in has left only the front-most portion of the base exposed, with its corridors broken and bent out of shape. Red emergency lights illuminate the entrance, with a Spotlight found on the seabed to the left, as well as a gathering of Water Slugs.

There are two Oxygen Tunics nearby:

• One found next to the sign alongside a Power Transmitter fragment.
• The other next to a Dead Coral Crab and its bleached Coral Dome.

A Storage Cache can also be found buried in the sand here.

Interior

Much of the interior has become inaccessible due to the cave-in, with many corridors reduced to quick dead-ends filled with rubble and debris. To the left of the entrance is the resident NoA unit.

To the right of the entrance, there is a Power Cell Terminal fragment, a Biobed buried in the sand, and the Ganzo/Twinkle - "Two Survivors" Databank entry. Going left from here, there is a Recipe Data Card for the Interior Wall blueprint. Going right, there is a Power Storage fragment.

TWINKLE: No. Not here. I'm sorry.

GANZO: I gotta go find her!

TWINKLE: Okay. Yes. I'll come with you. Where do we start?

GANZO: She's...if she resets, she'd print at Sleep Bay 3. But it takes days sometimes...

TWINKLE: I've never been outside before, Ganzo. I'm not adapted. I don't even have fins.

GANZO: We can't...I can't make you wait days. Not if I'm unreliable. We have to find the Jubilee.
