The Battery Terminal is a Seabase Module used to recharge and store Batteries. It is similar in function to the [Power Cell Terminal](Power Cell Terminal), however it is used to charge Batteries instead of [Power Cells](Power Cell).

Usage

The Battery Terminal provides 6 slots that can be filled with Batteries to store and charge them.

  • It consumes 1 energy/s for each charging Battery.
  • It recharges each Battery by 1 unit of energy/s.
  • Charging can be toggled manually by interacting with the holographic display on the top of the device.

Databank Entry

Battery Terminal

A charging rack for personal batteries. Draws excess power from the habitat - will not function in a power shortage. Larger power cells used in submersibles and heavy equipment require their own specialized charger.

  • Requires power input from base
  • Load depleted batteries into charger; remove when fully charged (or early for emergency use)
  • Vital for long term operation of tools and equipment

To avoid unpleasant surprises, check battery levels in your tools and return them to the charger before depletion.

"The Battery Terminal: it's not the end of the line."
