Subnautica 2 Blueprint Locations and Crafting Recipes

Blueprints unlock new crafting recipes in Subnautica 2 that'll help you expand your base and explore even deeper parts of the alien ocean. You have to scan the items you're after in old colony habitats and outposts, and it can be difficult to find enough things to scan to finally unlock a recipe. This page features a comprehensive list of all Subnautica 2 blueprints and where to find the necessary items to scan.

How to Scan and Unlock Blueprints

While certain recipes can be unlocked just by gathering the necessary crafting materials, you'll have to physically scan most things in Subnautica 2 before you can make them yourself.

Most of the stuff you can scan will be at old colony facilities, especially the places that NOA will send you during the main story. Generally, if you're going after a Black Box, you'll pass by some fancy new furniture or technology along the way.

Most items need to be scanned multiple times in order to unlock their respective blueprints. You can check the progress of any items you've scanned by opening the menu and navigating to the Blueprints tab.
