The Therapy Room is a Cicada compartment wreck that crash-landed on the southeast edge of the Karakorum Ruins, situated between the EVA Prep and the Stairway to Heaven. According to PDA records, this compartment was originally used for atmospheric therapy.
Lore & History
236,000 hours ago, Udal Singh, Temuliin "Tuba" Tobukha, Melaku "Mel" Sansar, and Rauli "Iso" Isotalo were salvaging at the wreck when they were attacked by Axum Tailings. Mel, Singh, and Tuba were killed during the attack; Iso was abducted and taken to EVA Prep, where he was interrogated and accidentally killed.
Description
Before entering the wreck, players should be aware of the surroundings. The only immediate biological threat is a solitary Needler Mango swimming nearby.
Nearby Worksite
A short distance from the wreck lies a small worksite containing scans for the Advanced Battery, Tadpole Haul Chassis, and Thermal Plant. Containers in this area hold:
- Mild Acid
- Grease
- Titanium
- A Water Slug (noted as particularly thirsty)
Part of the worksite has collapsed off the cliff to a lower level, where additional resources can be found:
- More Titanium
- Another Advanced Battery
- A Basic Battery
- Copper and Copper Wire
Even further down, containers hold yet another Advanced Battery, Water, and a Worklight.
Wreck Exterior
Returning to the wreck itself, a small rock pillar stands in front. On top of this pillar is Mel's Blackbox, with his air tank located off to the side. Swimming up and south from the pillar reveals Singh's Blackbox.
At the wreck's entrance, the Axum Tailings have left a warning: a makeshift tool adorned with three pairs of goggles, corresponding to the three Pioneers killed on-site.
Lower Level
Inside the entrance, signs of struggle are evident. A Survival Multitool is wedged in a crate, and a Tailing spear has pierced the back wall directly above it. One of the crates contains a Titanium Ingot.
On the left side of the room, a door can be repaired using the Repair Tool. The next room contains:
- A scan for the Modification Station
- Tuba's Blackbox
A hole in the ceiling near the Modification Station leads to the upper level.
Upper Level
The upper level consists of a single room with a central pillar. Resources and items found here include:
- An Axum Feedback Resonator on a crate
- Scans for the Dining Table and Work Light in the corner opposite the entry hole
